Imperfection Print E-mail

What does it really mean to be perfect?
Does it really matter in the end?
Is it really such a crime to be you?

You can work, work and work on being perfect but in the end will you be happy? Sure, you might achieve a different look on the outside, but at the end you should ask yourself is this really you and was all the pain worth it?

All the times you cried from getting tired and frustrated. Fruitless efforts night after night trying to change the way you look not the way you feel. So you change your hair, your friends, your clothing. Then, you start wearing make up to cover the stress pimples and glasses to cover your beautiful tired eyes. Why does image seem to matter so much in this world?

I mean, if it's guys you're after, you may be able to change your looks on the outside, but you'll still have the same personality on the inside. If what you would consider "prettier" makes you feel better about yourself, then heck, go for it, but then by looking like that, you may attract more guys, but some of those guys (more than less) are going to be rude--players only looking for a new toy.

As a base line, when you really stop and think about it...Take a step back and review your life, your friends, and family.I found that maybe being imperfect is ok.

So your hair may not stay in place or stay straight or curly and so maybe you have those little spots of acne on your face. Just remember this: everybody gets them, some time in their life. Some before others, but it will happen sometime.
Start seeing and showing the beauty only you hold from within. To be imperfect is ok. That is what makes you unique.
