A Dream Or A Nightmare

Life is a dream that none of us wake up from

But aren’t dreams supposed to mean something?

I've come to think not

For there are thousands of pointless lives…

some old

some new

But pointless all the same

Yet there are select few that do mean something

Those are the ones that write history

The ones that set the course for all the rest

Now I suppose the question remains

Is your dream of a hero?

I have my answer

And you shall know what I have found to be my truth

Because as I put the barrel to my head

I scream my question to you one last time for all to hear

Wake up….Is your life a dream or a nightmare?
