How Lucky I Am Print E-mail

poetry corner- Judy J, 14, HRM

I lie here thinking about the things I did,
listening to my music…the rock hard hits.
I think about the people who have no food…hunger,

I think about the people, who are living on the streets …homeless,

I think about the people, who are always in a bad mood,

I lie here in my room thinking about these things,
Telling myself how lucky I am…
For I am not going through what some people must endure.

I lie hear thinking and giving thanks.
