X-Men III Review Print E-mail

Writing CornerX-Men III Review

Kasey Hughes, 15, Nova Scotia

When I saw the commercial for the third X-men movie, I knew I had to go. I absolutely had to! One reason being that Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) has to be one of the hottest men I've ever seen.

The second movie was awesome, so the third had to be better, right? That's what happens in series. Unless you count the Back To The Future trilogy, in which that third movie was actually the worst. Anyway, so I gathered up some friends, and we set off to see the movie! And let me tell you, it was all it was cracked up to be, and then some, plus a little more. The first X-men was about how mutants were not accepted into the human world. The second, about the X-men trying to find a mutant who attempted to kill the president.

The third, they find a 'cure' to being a mutant, some mutants want to fight it, others say as long as it's not forced on those who don't want it, it's all good. Some beloved characters die in this one, but they'll probably come back somehow. It always happens. At the ending of the movie, I won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it, but it is so obvious that there is going to be another one, regardless of the name "X-Men: The Last Stand" everyone knows that 'they' will make many, many more X-men movies.

The X-men movies will probably still be going on well after we die.
