Teens receive a sneak peek of their first teen magazine in Atlantic Canada

Visit Halifax Shopping Centre on Saturday, September 1st, from 11-4pm, in
centre court where teens will get a sneak peek at a mock version of the
magazine Teens Now Talk (TNT) - the first Atlantic Canadian teen focused
magazine, written by teens for teens.

TNT staff have planned an afternoon jam packed with lots of fun and great
prize giveaways sponsored by TNT, Advance Silk Screening and Halifax
Shopping Centre. Teens will have the opportunity to spin a giant wheel and
win TNT book covers, T-Shirts, Mall dollars, and the ultimate VIP Red Carpet
pass to the TNT magazine launch this December.

"Teens are making a real difference with this magazine and this December
they will be making history as their creative talents become published in
the new TNT print publication," said Jessica Bowden, Publisher, TNT.

Over the last three years, teens have assisted in the development of
www.teensnowtalk.com web design, logo design, magazine layout, and content
development, through forums, surveys and by forming their own teen groups
with the help of their parents, teachers and youth organizations.

Now, anticipation is growing on the part of teens who are anxiously waiting
to see their ideas published in a magazine they can call their own.

We invite all teens, parents and teachers to come and enjoy a day of fun and
celebration.

Teens Now Talk (TNT), a Halifax-based magazine written by teens for teens,
showcases real teen issues and solutions in the form of short stories,
poetry, journalistic articles, art and music. TNT is currently published
online and has been gaining acclaim as an important outlet for teens to
express themselves and be heard by their peers.

Be Seen, Be Heard, Be the Voice.
